5-Minute Therapy: Dating

It’s Not Relationshipping (and That’s a Good Thing)

by Faith G. Harper, PhD, LPC-S, ACS, ACN

Dating used to be a thing that most people did for a while. Now it’s faded to take up a cramped and awkward space in between hooking up and instantly moving into together. If you woke up all alarmed and find yourself wanting all that old shit, letters and sodas, read this zine and get on with doing the stuff that makes up dating. Like having FUN, remember that? And trusting your guts. And taking it slow.

“…no nonsense, zero bullshit, friendly, funny, and practical advice. Reclaiming dating as a fun activity, but avoiding the traps of being addicted to attention, or annoying the F*@k out of your friends and family, is easy when it’s broken down into ten steps of things to consider, remember, or act on.”—Nathan Penlington, Syndicated Zine Reviews
