Dia de los Muertos Papel Picado Banner (Mexico)

We collected a whole bunch of these beautiful, bright, seasonal tissue paper garlands when we were in Mexico City.

Each banner includes 10 different brightly colored panels: Purple, Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow, Red, Gold, Blue, Light Green, and Pink.

In Mexico, papel picados are often incorporated into the altars (ofrendas) during Dia de Los Muertos and are hung throughout the streets during holidays. In the streets of Mexico, papel picados are often strung together to create a banner that can either be hung across alleyways or displayed in the home.
