“By the end of high school I had covered my trash can, nightstand, sketchbooks, and pretty much everything else, in free stickers from my favorite bands and clothing brands. Then I was introduced to stickers as a form of street art. This would have been around 2010 during the Banksy “Exit Through The Gift Shop” hype when graffiti exploded into the world of street art. All of a sudden stencils, wheat paste, and mosaics were popping up alongside tags and throwies. The fine art auction houses also decided that this form of art was worth collecting too…”
